Banda Aceh Develop Tourism Village


Rural tourism will be developed in the city of Banda Aceh. Efforts are made development of Banda Aceh City Government through the Department of Culture and Tourism this year to support the visit of 2011.

"There are some villages that will be developed into a tourist village," said Head of Culture and Tourism Reza Fahlevi Banda Aceh in Banda Aceh, on Tuesday (10/26/2010).

Target villages that will be a tourist village plan is Punge Blangcut, Ulee Lheue, Kampung Pande, Lampulo, and Stomach. This development was done to support the Visit Banda Aceh Year 2011 which was launched at the Ministry of Culture and Tourism on October 19, 2010.

Fahlezi said the elections in these villages is based on tourist object. Fifth village has a tourist attraction worth selling.

Gampong Punge Blangcut, Kacamatan New Jaya has a location terdamparnya diesel boat floating at 26 December 2004 tsunami hit Aceh province. Meanwhile, in District Meuraxa Lheue famous for its beach area. Kampung Pande, District Kutaraja, known as the first settlement in the city of Banda Aceh.

According to him, specifically for Gastric Village, District Meuraxa tourist village will be a tsunami. Later, tourists can see people's lives directly after the region's flat on the ground due to tsunami hit six years ago.

Department of Culture and Tourism City of Banda Aceh continues to seek improvements other tourist attractions. For example Baiturrahman Grand Mosque, the tomb of the Sultanate of Aceh as well as trace the history of the Sultanate of Aceh's past, including Kerkoff, and Dutch Marechaussee cemetery.

Fahlezi hope all the people of Banda Aceh are ready to welcome tourists visiting this year, so that could boost the economy.

"The tourism sector will be the leading sectors for Pemko Banda Aceh. The sector is also going to move the economy of society. We hope that the Visit Banda Aceh Year a success," he said.
